About The Game

Dead Island is a first-person action role-playing game set on the fictional island of Banoi, a tropical paradise suddenly overrun by a mysterious zombie outbreak. You play as one of four individuals who are seemingly immune and find themselves caught in the chaos. Your goal is to survive the horrors of the island, find other survivors, and discover a way to escape.
This Game of the Year Edition includes the main game and the "Riptide" chapter. The gameplay focuses on melee combat, using a variety of makeshift and modified weapons to fight off hordes of the undead. You will gain experience, level up, and develop your character's skills as you progress through the main story and side quests. Team up with friends in seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op to survive together.
