Outlast is a first-person survival horror game developed and published by Red Barrels. The story follows investigative journalist Miles Upshur who receives an anonymous tip about inhumane experiments at Mount Massive Asylum. When he arrives, he finds the asylum overrun by homicidal patients. Armed only with a camcorder, Miles must uncover the terrible truth behind the asylum's dark history.

This edition includes the Whistleblower DLC, which tells the story before the main events of Outlast. You play as Waylon Park, a software engineer who contacts Miles Upshur about the illegal activities at Mount Massive. After being discovered, Waylon becomes a prisoner and must survive the horrors he helped create.
