The Suffering is a third-person action-adventure horror game. You play as Torque, a prisoner on death row in Abbot State Penitentiary, a maximum-security prison located on a remote island. Shortly after your arrival, a powerful earthquake unleashes a horde of grotesque, malevolent creatures upon the facility. As you fight for your survival, you must confront your own inner demons and uncover the truth behind your past and the supernatural events plaguing the prison.

The game features a dynamic morality system where your actions—whether you help fellow inmates or kill them—influence the story's outcome and determine Torque's ultimate fate. With creature design by the legendary Stan Winston Studios, The Suffering delivers a terrifying and intense experience.
